Scholarships

Scholarships for youth in need.

Scholarships are need-based and local. Most often this is a six-month training award and includes a gi. A teacher, neighbor, or parent can nominate.

What is covered

  • Training tuition at a local jiu-jitsu or self-defense program.
  • Initial supplies, most often a gi.
  • Typically a six-month award, with the chance to continue if the student is training and funding allows.

Who we look for

Underprivileged and/or bullied youth who may otherwise never get the chance to train.

The award

Scholarships are made so the recipient can attend jiu-jitsu or another local self-defense program at no charge. Most often this is a six-month training award and includes a gi.
